WE WILL PROVIDE HAMBURGERS, HOT DOGS, SAUSAGES, BUNS, PLATES, AND CUTLERY.  PLAYGROUNDS AND BALL FIELDS SURROUND THE PAVILION.  EATING WILL COMMENCE AT 12 AND A SHORT MEETING AFTER THAT TO ELECT DIRECTORS, AND PRESENT AWARDS.  BE THERE AND SUPPORT THE THEATRE

Proposed Bylaw changes

     1. All Adult cast members will be required to pay a fee of ten dollars ($10) to participate in any PHCT production.  All youth cast members will be required to pay a fee of five dollars ($5) to participate in any PHCT production.  This fee will be waived for current members. Hardship waivers will be considered but fees can only be waived by a vote of the Board of Directors.  Production staff and crew will not be required to pay a participant fee and will be granted temporary membership in Port Huron Civic Theatre.  This will replace “No person who is not an Adult or Youth member in good standing will be allowed to participate in any PHCT production in any way.”  As well as “Anyone helping back-stage during a show may be given a special temporary membership during production of that show.” 

2. Amendment - Resignation.  Any Board member may resign by filing a written resignation with the Secretary.   Resignations are effective upon receipt by the Secretary of the Corporation of written notification. No Board action is necessary. 

3. Amendment - Action without a Meeting.  Any action required or permitted to be taken at a meeting of the Board of Directors or of any committee may be taken without a meeting if all the members of the Board or committee consent in writing to taking the action without a meeting and to approving the specific action. Such consents shall have the same force and effect as a unanimous vote of the Board or of the committee as the case may be.
